Welcome on the website of Theo De GelaenTheo De Gelaen is tutor Social and Human skills and expert in aggression and violence control. He has studied applied psychology, neurology and quantum physics. He has more than 30 years of experience in Eastern and Western martial arts. He studied Eastern medicine and healing and is a Qi Gong master. Theo is the founder/chairman of the international martial arts federation Daochi Dim Mak and associate founder of the organisation Agenco. Thanks to the combination of Eastern and Western knowledge and science he was able to develop a unique, revolutionary approach of aggression. Especially his emotional energetic approach of aggression is very refreshing and innovating. Theo De Gelaen is author of six books all published by Globe (Roularta) and author/maker of several professionally made DVD about martial art and Qi Gong. As a martial artist Theo De Gelaen is practicing different arts for over 30 years. He started with Judo, later Shotokan karate, then Jiu Jitsu and Aikido. Further Shito Ryu karate and Shintaido. The last 20 years he concentrating and specialising himself in the more internal and energetically aspects of martial arts like Qi Gong ( inner energy) and Fa Jin (kinetic energy) and Pressure Point Fighting. This is working with vital, pressure and nerve points within martial arts. Because martial arts and aggression control are holistic and integral, he was focussing for the last years on the integration of all these aspects within the martial arts in general and aggression control in special. This resulted in the “Integral (holistic) Energetic martial art, self defence and aggression control” what can be seen as additional to all martial arts. Every practitioner of martial arts or everyone involved in aggression and violence control can integrate IEM or see it as a useful addition. IEM makes martial arts techniques more efficient and easier to perform. Theo De Gelaen gives speeches, teaches seminars, classes and workshops in schools, organisations, companies about different aspects within his specialism. Beside that he is coordinator/lector for the post graduate Mart arts and selfdefence and the postgraduate Security and aggression control within the Provincial Hogeschool Limburg (PHL) |
